Arlington Street -- John Puglia -- Robbie Schneider -- Closing Reception This Friday @ Square Records -- June 25 7-10 PM

Two and a half months ago, my friend, John Puglia, procured the gallery at Square Records for the month of June. The original plan was to do a show for my Kaleidoscope Project, but when John told me about his idea to "do something" involving this street in east Akron, it sounded way more interesting (and fun) than revisiting an old project.

And... Arlington Street didn't fail to deliver! While it turned-out to be a documentary of sorts, rather than a purely creative project, I've enjoyed working on it more than most... primarily because it involved my getting in touch with a rich community in my home of the past 10 years. This project may be coming to an end, but my visits to Arlington Street won't be!

The closing reception for the project is this coming Friday, June 25, at Square Records from 7-9 PM. (Click here for directions.) While it looks like the live music may have fallen through, there will be refreshments and video-based entertainment (and I'll probably just have them play albums by The Cramps all night, being that they were my internal playlist during the project). I hope to see you there!
